After Dinner Mint Cake-Pops

Created for a friend's dinner party
mint chocolate flavoured cake-pops.

The first stage - cake crumbs.

Blended with chocolate buttercream to make 'cake-pop dough'.
Then divided and made into many smaller cake balls.

Sticks added and then dipped in gooey, melted, milk chocolate.

And not forgetting the kids, simple chocolate cake-pops
decorated with butterflies and...

...animal shapes on longer sticks.

Mint flavoured cake-pops with mint coloured sprinkles for the adults.

Left to chill-out in the lounge :-))

...and finally, dressed - with bows and cases added!

Pretty Cake-Pops for Girl's Night In

I made these for a girl's night in - a real treat!

Starting with basic, chocolate-mix cake-balls...

...placed on lolly-sticks...

...dipped in melted white chocolate...

...quickly followed by pretty heart-shaped sprinkles, so cute!

Allowed to chill in the fridge, before dressing!

I recently found these pretty shoe-design cases by chance.

Fabulous!

Added a pretty pink or red gingham bow for full effect.

Gorgeous!

PS: Thanks to Nicky & Steve for my perspex cake-pop stand,
as featured in these photos - looks great and so practical too.

Just a taster!

I'm in the process of moving house - too much to do, too little time!

In the meantime, I just wanted to tease you with my new sprinkle selection, watch this space...

Valentines?

Springtime and Easter?

Merry Christmas Cake-Pops

I started with basic cake-balls, holes prepared with a lolly stick

The sticks were secured with melted chocolate and the cake-balls completely dipped in lovely, gloopy melted dark chocolate

After being chilled for an hour or so - both the cakes and me :-)) LOL!
I part dipped the cake-pops in melted white chocolate and added the very nice sugar craft green holly and red berry decorations made and supplied by Lisa at Sugar Sugar Cake Decorations:

...and finally, once the chocolate had set, I dressed my cake-pops in frilly green petit-fours cases, secured with a piece of festive red ribbon

Ready to share with my friends for a festive treat
